Social Development reiterates dedication to strengthening SASSA grants

Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and motivation to strengthening South African Social Security Company (SASSA) providers all through an engagement together with the agency's senior managers in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric examinations.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% of your registered pupils during the instruction sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
